Humboldt's varsity boys' track team placed third in the team scoring of their own Charlie Bunn Relays held Friday night (April 11) in Humboldt.

DES MOINES - Nikko Wheeler and Reed Dreyer came away with sixth-place medals while Dylan Hendricks placed eighth in Saturday's consolation finals of the Class 2A State Wrestling Tournament at Wells Fargo Arena in Des Moines. In a joint meeting held last week (Jan. 22) in Gilmore City, the Gilmore City-Bradgate and West Bend-Mallard school boards approved a change to their whole grade sharing agreement.

The Humboldt Education Association presented its master contract proposal to the Humboldt School Board Monday night.

When the referee raised Reed Dreyer’s arm, declaring the Humboldt High School junior the North Central Conference champion at 195 pounds last Saturday, Dreyer became the school’s 97th conference title-holder.
He also kept alive Humboldt’s streak of crowning a conference champion at 26 consecutive years.
