The Humboldt High School girls' golf team earned a trip to the Class 4A State Tournament after placing runner-up in a regional at Storm Lake on Monday (May 20). Humboldt's varsity girls' soccer team wrapped up their regular season at Garner-Hayfield/Ventura on Thursday night (May 16) in a 3-2 loss to the Cardinals. Humboldt, now 3-6 on the season, will prepare for their Class 1A Regional Tournament first round game against Carroll Kuemper on May 28 in Carroll.

Humboldt's boys won three events and placed fifth in the Storm Lake Invitational Thursday night (April 25).

The Wildcat boys were led by Jacob Miller, who won the 1,600 (4:55) and 3,200 meters (10:22), and Bryan Larson won the discus (132-9). Humboldt returns to action at Algona on April 30.

HUMBOLDT – Humboldt's varsity girls' golf team posted a 41-shot victory Tuesday night (April 23) at Webster City, shooting a 193 total. Host Webster City was second with 234 and Iowa Falls-Alden tallied 235.
