The Humboldt High School girls' golf team earned a trip to the Class 4A State Tournament after placing runner-up in a regional at Storm Lake on Monday (May 20). HUMBOLDT – Clear Lake upended Humboldt's varsity boys' soccer team by a 3-1 count Tuesday night in Humboldt.

The Wildcats, now 1-3 on the season, got their only goal from Craig Fishel. Next up for the Wildcats is a varsity-only contest at Aprlington-Parkersburg on April 30.
