Humboldt into playoffs with 28-6 victory at Charles City
The Humboldt High football team is back in the playoffs after beating Charles City, 28-6 Friday night (Oct. 25) in a Class 3A District 3 contest at Charles City. The victory moved Humboldt's record to 3-3 and fourth in district play, 6-3 overall.
Brady Ross and Nikko Wheeler each had a pair of touchdowns to lead Humboldt. The Wildcats will not open first round playoff competition at Dallas Center-Grimes, a 20-2 victor over Boone Friday night. Kickoff will be 7 p.m. in Grimes.
