Peters healthy, ready to contribute at Iowa State
There probably wasn’t anybody more excited to be standing on the field at Jack Trice Stadium in Ames last Sunday than Gilmore City native Levi Peters.
It was media day at Iowa State University and Peters, a multi-sport athlete at Twin River Valley and Fort Dodge Senior High, was dressed in his Cardinal and Gold uniform.
After being sidelined due to knee and foot injuries the last two years, Peters is healthy and ready to contribute on the Cyclone football team.
“It feels good to be healthy and be in camp. Getting ready for the season and competing,” Peters said. “But the main thing I feel good about right now is my health. I feel real good.”
