Sandy Terveer is the new administrator for Humboldt Care Centers North and South.
Terveer started in Humboldt on March 25, coming to Humboldt from Sioux City where she was a nursing home administrator the past four years.
“I wanted to get back to rural Iowa. The organization that owns the Humboldt Care Centers (Jerry and Nancy Voyna of Quality Health Care Facilities) are topnotch. Quality care is a passion for them and for me,” Terveer said.
Quality Health Care Facilities, based out of Clive, will soon own its 10th facility in May.
“Humboldt has been so welcoming and friendly from the staff, the towns people to the service providers. I’m just tickled pink to be here,” Terveer said.
Her goal with the Humboldt Care Centers is to continue to provide the highest quality care. Humboldt Care Centers employ between 120 and 130 people in the community. Humboldt Care Center North is licensed for 90 residents and Humboldt Care Center South is licensed for 40 residents.
